CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK

The Franklins* came in to TNT Tile and Marble, Ottawa Granite Specialists, the week of March 30th, 2015. They were looking for help and expertise on what colour of granite they should choose for their Ottawa granite bathroom renovation. The Franklins brought in a couple cabinet samples and some pictures of their existing bathroom to assist our specialists in helping them choose the right options for their renovation.

When the Franklins entered the showroom they were quite interested in a slab we have featured of Sienna Bourdeau granite, displayed in our Ottawa Granite showroom. This slab complimented a new cabinet sample they had which was a pillowed design in a Walnut colour. The Franklins weren’t sure if they were prepared to purchase new cabinets, so our granite Ottawa specialists showed them some colours that would accent their existing chestnut coloured traditional cabinetry. Brown Antique and Giallo Ornamental granite both accented the tones in their cabinet and highlighted the look of the cabinet, which improved its dated appearance. The Franklins also found a 6 x 24 hardwood style tile, ABK Soleras, which they loved and the tones matched their existing cabinetry and their potential new cabinets, as well as accenting all three granite colours.

Since our specialists had the measurements for the vanity, they took the Franklins out to view the slabs we have on site at our Ottawa granite showroom. Our specialists also looked for a remnant in the colours that the couple liked and were able to find a Sienna Bourdeau and Brown Antique piece that would fit their job. The Franklins were then provided with pricing for their options in an estimate and went over other options such as profile edging, sink and faucet options. The Franklins also noticed a mosaic, Emperador and Crema Marfil Basketweave, that they thought would be a lovely accent to the tile and the Brown Antique granite option. The Franklins were encouraged to take samples of each of the granites and the tile so that they could see what they looked like under their lighting and in the actual space. The Franklins opted to not put a deposit on any material but hoped that they would be able to make a decision quickly and that the pieces would still be available once they had made a selection.

Assisting customers in design is the highlight of our Ottawa Granite specialist’s day and they are always eager to help their customers find the right piece for the right project. Come visit our showroom, you might be the lucky Customer of the Week.
